Dr.Clara Lee      Pediatric Dentist

"My goal is for each of our young patients to grow up to be adults who continue to seek regular dental care without fear or apprehension."

Dr. Lee was born and raised in Southern California. In 1998, Dr. Lee graduated from UCLA's School of Dentistry where she received Honors in several disciplines, as well as recognition for Excellence in Pediatric Dentistry by the American Society of Dentistry for Children.  She was also the recipient of the International Award, Health Careers Scholarship throughout her dental school education.  She then completed a 2 year residency program at UCLA where at the time, only 4 residents per year were accepted throughout the nation to specialize in Pediatric Dentistry.

Dr. Lee enjoys philanthropy and organizing events that encourage giving back. She is also a Public Health Educator and lectures in community centers, and local schools. In her free time, Dr. Lee enjoys photography, painting, yoga, music and traveling with her husband and their 14 year old son and 11 year old daughter. She is an active member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, California Society of Pediatric Dentistry and the Orange County Dental Society.


DR. ANNA CHAND      Pediatric Dentist

"I believe that childhood experiences are carried with a person into adulthood. That is why we strive to make each dental visit a positive and pleasant one."

Dr. Chand grew up in New York and moved to Irvine at the age of 15 where she attended University High School and UCI. She is a graduate of UCLA's School of Dentistry and was the recipient of the Dean's Scholarship. She is a Board Certified Diplomat of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and was an honors student, graduating Cum Laude from UCI.

Dr. Chand enjoys cooking, gardening and traveling.  She has a heart for underdeveloped countries and is proud to use her dental background to help those in need overseas.  She is currently working to open a nonprofit medical/dental facility in Thailand.  Dr. Chand and her husband are enjoying their 5 year old girl and 3 year old boy.  Dr. Chand is an active member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, California Society of Pediatric Dentistry and the Orange County Dental Society.


DR. PARISA KERMANSHAHI      Pediatric Dentist

“Being a mom, I understand the struggles parents have in trying to do what is best for their child. I love being a resource to helping parents make informed decisions for their children.”

Dr. Parisa originally practiced as a general dentist.  Though she worked with both adults and children, Dr. Parisa found much fulfillment in working with children, particularly those with physical and mental challenges.  As a result, Dr. Parisa went back to school to pursue a career in Pediatric Dentistry.  She received her Specialty Pediatrics Certificate and Masters Degree in Dentistry at Loma Linda School of Dentistry.  Dr. Parisa is a Board Certified Diplomate and is a member of the California Dental Association, American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, California Society of Pediatric Dentistry, American Dental Association and the Orange County Dental Society.

Dr. Parisa enjoys attending non-profit mission trips locally and overseas.  She had the privilege of serving the people of Haiti on a dental missions trip.  Dr. Parisa and her husband Dr. Reza Izadi, an Endodontist, and their 2 active boys reside in Newport Beach.  In her free time, she enjoys traveling, cooking, scuba diving and running.  Dr. Parisa is brave, she has gone sky diving twice!


DR. LANI CHANG      Pediatric Dentist

"I always strive to be a kind and patient dentist. I also want to equip our patients and families with the knowledge and skills to maintain good oral health for their lifetime."

Dr. Lani is a 2003 graduate of the prestigious Harvard School of Dental Medicine.  She completed her residency in Pediatric Dentistry at USC and is a Board Certified Diplomate in Pediatric Dentistry.  Dr. Lani is an Irvine native and attended Woodbridge High School as well as UCI.  Dr. Lani enjoys traveling with her husband and two kids. She also enjoys reading, and trying out new gourmet restaurants.  She is an active member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, California Society of Pediatric Dentistry, American Board of Pediatric Dentists and the USC Pediatric Dentistry Alumni Association.


DR. YVONNE LEE      Pediatric Dentist

"The best part of my day is seeing a previously anxious child leave his/her dental visit with a smile and a proud sense of accomplishment."

Dr. Yvonne grew up in Southern California. After receiving her bachelor's degree at UC Berkeley, she moved to the East Coast to attend the University of Pennsylvania School of Dentistry.  While in dental school, she realized that she loved working with children.  Dr. Yvonne completed her pediatric residency at UCLA where she served as the Chief Resident.  She is a Board Certified Diplomate and really enjoys being a pediatric dentist.

In her spare time, Dr. Yvonne enjoys yoga, riding the carousel with her daughter, and traveling with her husband, Bryant, who is an Optometrist in Irvine. She is an active member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and the Orange County Dental Society.


DR. KEREEM HUSAIN      Pediatric Dentist

"Dental appointments can be tough for kids, my goal is to make it easy and as comfortable as possible. I love ending appointments with the kids in a celebratory high five."

Dr. Kereem is a Board Certified Pediatric Dentist and a graduate of USC Dental School where his diligence and skill put him on the Dean’s List each year. He completed his pediatric residency at Yale New Haven Hospital where he worked with infants to teens, and children with special needs. Dr. Kereem has had intensive training in prevention, behavior management techniques, and treating child patients under sedation. As president of USC’s Humanitarian Club, he also led dental teams that served in Mexico, Honduras, Haiti and the Middle East.

Dr. Kereem enjoys traveling and relaxing at the beach. On the weekends, you might find him snorkeling, watching the latest Marvel movie, or being the Cool Uncle to his nephews and nieces. Dr. Kereem is bilingual in English and Arabic, and is also learning Spanish.


DR. SONA BEKMEZIAN      Orthodontist

"I loved going to the dentist as a child, my teenage orthodontic experience was what made me want to become an orthodontist."

Dr. Sona is a Board Certified Orthodontist and a Director on the Board of the California Association of Orthodontics. She graduated summa cum laude from UCLA and completed her dental training and orthodontic residency at UCSF, where she was the recipient of the UC Regents Scholar Award. She practiced orthodontics for many years in the Bay Area, served as clinical instructor at Children's Hospital Oakland, and also started two orthodontic clinics across the Bay Area to provide orthodontic treatment to those in greatest need.

Dr. Sona picked up bee keeping as a hobby during the pandemic. She really loves eating vegetables and making gluten free baked goods.


 DR. CYNTHIA HUANG      Orthodontist

"I am passionate about creating beautiful smiles and the positive changes that they bring."

Dr. Cynthia Huang spent her childhood in Malaysia but then moved to the United Kingdom where she completed high school and college.  Upon graduating from Queen's University Dental School with distinctions, she pursued her orthodontic specialty training at Northwestern University, Chicago.  After finishing her residency in 1999, she joined the faculty at Northwestern University Dental School as a Clinical Assistant Professor, teaching the fundamentals of clinical orthodontics to the dental students, and treating patients with the Cleft Palate Team at Northwestern University in collaboration with Shriners Hospitals for Children, Chicago.  Dr. Huang has been in private practice since moving to Southern California in 2001. She is a member of American Association of Orthodontics (AAO), Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontics (PCSO) and California Association of Orthodontics (CAO).

She resides in Irvine with her husband and their two children.  In her spare time, she enjoys teaching her children everything from math to music, and cherishes spending time outdoors making wonderful memories with her family.


Dr. Heidi Kim   Pediatric Dentist

"My passion lies in making children proud of their smiles and cultivating habits to maintain those smiles for a lifetime. It is a privilege to contribute to the health of my patients and the community."


Dr. Heidi grew up on the east coast but happily calls Orange County her home. After receiving her bachelor's degree at the George Washington University and her master's degree from the Johns Hopkins University, she then went on to pursue her Doctor of Dental Surgery at the University of California San Francisco. While at UCSF, she organized numerous community outreach events to help underprivileged children maintain their oral health. After dental school, Dr. Heidi completed a general practice residency at the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) for advanced training in hospital dentistry to serve patients with medically complex conditions and special needs. Through these experiences, she confirmed her decision to commit her career to care for children, which led her to return to UCSF for specialized training in pediatric dentistry.
Dr. Heidi is an active member of the California Society of Pediatric Dentistry, American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, American Dental Association, and California Dental Association. She is fluent in Chinese.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Heidi enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends, traveling, hiking, and discovering new places.
