The pediatric dentists and staff at Irvine and San Juan Capistrano Children's Dentistry believe in providing comfortable and friendly service to our young patients in greater Orange County, CA including the nearby cities of Mission Viejo, Aliso Viejo, San Clemente and Laguna Beach. We understand the importance of early dental treatment and a child's first dental visit. Therefore, we offer a free initial consultation for babies and toddlers/kids under the age of 3 (per the recommendation of the AAPD) looking to begin dental treatment (insurance may apply.) We like to ensure that your child is as comfortable as possible, and therefore we allow your child to sit on your lap during his/her appointment. For our baby and toddler patients, we ask that they lie on your chest. During the exam, you can expect Drs. Chand, Lani and Lee to go over the following:

Check for cavities and the alignment of the teeth
Discuss diet recommendations
Demonstrate proper brushing and flossing technique
Check the child's gums for signs of gum disease and any other abnormalities
Check the alignment and growth of the teeth
